Please join us on August 17th for the SGV Chapter meeting where Jennifer Singleton will be doing a presentation on desert iguanas. She will be discussing her lab and field hormone work, the evolutionary basis for linking basal traits to behaviors and juvenile-adult color changing, as well as iguana behavior. She will also be showing some interesting videos that she gathered during her fieldwork. The presentation will be at 7:30 pm at the Eaton Canyon Nature Center – 1750 North Altadena Drive, Pasadena, CA.

SWHS supports the upcoming amendment to Ordinance 16-1357 to exclude educational organizations. This amendment is important since as an educational organization, the SWHS should be exempted from laws that affect people and entities that abuse and neglect animals.
