This is an outdoor event, underneath a canopy, set up in the NHM nature garden. They will have the spray misters again if it is hot. Los Angeles is a biodiversity hotspot, so it’s time to celebrate our nature! Bring your herps to educate the public! SWHS members! We have our regular booth at the Los Angeles Environmental Education Fair (LAEEF) at the LA Arboretum this year. This is a great opportunity for Education Outreach and to share your love of herps with the public. Please let us know if you can make it and which animals you would like to bring. Los Angeles Environmental Education Fair – Spring Into Green!
Join us as several thousand families, educators, scouting groups, and students from all over the Los Angeles area come to network with local environmental community...
The SWHS will be hosting a herp station for a monthly a 3rd grade field trip from December through May from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. The next one will be Wednesday, March 10 2017. The herp stations are located at the Andora trail head entrance: 9955 Andora Street just south of Lassen in Chatsworth.

We welcome you to join us at our monthly third grade field trips. It is great fun to teach the third graders about some of the animals that live in the Santa Susana Mountains and how to protect them. As the children hike and explore this beautiful open space, they take a historical and cultural walk into the history...
ALL proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to animal rescues. Half will go directly to the SWHS Adoption and Rescue Program!
